How we handle your information

We only collect what the site needs to work. We never sell it or use it for advertising.

What we collect

Signing in with Google: your Google name, email and profile photo. We never see your Google password.
Signing in with a phone number: your phone number.
What you post: reviews, photos, job, rental and item listings, and the contact details you put in them.
Your IP address and browser details when you sign in, to keep your account secure.
Launch email: the email address and language you leave, used only to send one email when we officially launch.
Feedback you send, plus your account if you are signed in.

How we use it

To sign you in and show what you post.
To stop spam, ads and scams: posting limits, handling reports and reviewing content that breaks the rules.
To reply to your feedback. We never send marketing texts or emails.

Who can see it

Your reviews, photos, listings and the contact details in them are public. Think before you post.
Your email, sign-in phone number and feedback are never shown publicly; only site admins can see them.
We do not sell, rent or share your information with third parties, except when Qatari authorities lawfully require it.

Cookies and third-party services

We only use cookies the site needs: keeping you signed in, remembering notices you closed and whether the side buttons are collapsed. No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Map tiles come from OpenFreeMap and Google sign-in is handled by Google. As with any website, these services can see your IP address.

How long we keep it and how to delete it

Job, rental and item listings expire after 30 days. You can delete your own reviews and listings at any time.
Tap "Delete account" in My account to delete your account and everything you posted immediately. You can turn off the launch email there at any time. To remove an email you left without signing in, tell us through Feedback.
Site data is stored on a server in Hong Kong and backed up regularly.

We handle personal data under Qatar's Personal Data Privacy Protection Law (Law No. 13 of 2016). When this policy changes we update the date above, and we will announce major changes on the site.
